University of Wisconsin-Madison police are stepping up patrols this week after two armed robberies near campus.
Police say both robberies happened last Friday. One was at the McDonald’s on Regent Street and the other was at the East Campus Mall Walgreen’s. Police say no one was hurt in either robbery and no arrests have been made.
