There will soon be a search for a new home for Francis the turtle.
The folks at J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue in Menasha say they are caring for Francis, who is a Malaysian Giant River Turtle, after her owner got too sick to continue to keep her. Giant River Turtles are rare, and rescuers say she needs some special care. J&R is also caring for two alligator snapping turtles from the same man. They hope to have those turtles available for adoption soon.
