Governor Tony Evers vetoed more than two-dozen Republican-backed bills Friday.
They include a bill that would ban government agencies from establishing any sort of COVID-19 vaccination requirement. Evers also vetoed a series of bills that would add work and job search requirements for people filing for unemployment benefits. One of those bills would block people who turn down a job offer or more hours at a current job from collecting benefits.
