Suspect in Murder Waves Right to Speedy Trial

One of the men charged with killing another man near the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay campus waves his right to a speedy trial.

Pedro Santiago-Marquez appeared in court this week where his attorney said there’s too much new evidence to have a trial next week.  His trial was rescheduled for July 18th.  Santiago-Marquez is accused of killing Jason Mendez-Ramos over a drug debt back in September.
