It will be two years in prison for a St. Croix County man in child pornography charges.
A judge yesterday sentenced 46-year-old Shannon Whitten to four years behind bars, but then gave him credit for the nearly two years he’s spent in county jail.
Whitten pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography involving infants and toddlers. Charges for failing to register as a sex offender and for having a gun as a felon were dropped as part of the plea deal.
