People who live along Lake Altoona have a little bit more than a week to make any lakeside improvements for the season.
Eau Claire’s parks department yesterday issued its annual ‘ice off’ notice. That clears the way for the city to raise the lake level starting April 25th. Parks managers say the lake will be at its usual summer-high by the first of May.
