Cavalier Johnson is now, officially, Milwaukee’s mayor. He took his oath of office yesterday. Johnson is the first black man elected as mayor of Milwaukee.
He said it’s a ‘generational transition in Milwaukee.’ Johnson will serve out the final two years of Tom Barrett’s final term before having to run again.
