Badger fans are mourning the loss of former assistant football coach Gary Brown.
He passed away yesterday after several weeks in hospice. He was 52. Brown played college football at Penn State before going to the NFL. He coached running backs while at Wisconsin, but left after the 2021 season. Brown battled cancer twice, including a bout in 2019. His cause of death is not officially known.
