There’s a warning about possibly tainted lettuce in western Wisconsin.
The state’s Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection yesterday said people should throw out bags of Ocean Mist Farms brand romaine hearts sold in the state. The fear is that the salad is tainted with Cyclospora. Most of the bags of lettuce were sold in western Wisconsin.
DATCP says all of the suspect packages have the code ’22RHDM2L,’ with a harvest date of ‘MAR10.’ The lettuce was grown in Coachella, California.
