There is another candidate in the race for sheriff in Eau Claire.
Captain Dave Riewestahl yesterday entered the race as a Democrat. He has been with the sheriff’s office since 2007, and is currently the jail administrator.
Jail sergeant Kevin Otto is also running as a Democrat, Detective Don Henning is running as a Republican. They are all running to replace Sheriff Ron Cramer who is retiring later this year.
