Wisconsin’s election managers are reaching-out to thousands of people who may have moved in the state.
The Elections Commission is looking to mail postcards to anyone who has changed their address since the last election. The idea is to make sure voters still live where they are registered. But the Elections Commission is not going to drop anyone who has moved, or simply doesn;t respond. Commission managers are telling local clerks they will have to decide what to do about anyone who doesn’t respond to the postcard, and the Commission says no one will actually be removed from the voting rolls ahead of the next election.
