Price County Sheriff Brian Schmidt reports on March 17, 2022, at about 10:40 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office was notified of a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash on State Highway 13 north of State Highway 111 in the Township of Worcester.
The preliminary investigation revealed the pedestrian was walking in the vicinity of the northbound shoulder of the roadway when they were struck by a northbound pickup truck. The pedestrian, a 36-year-old male from Phillips, now identified as Troy Schulenberg was pronounced dead at the scene.
