The Milwaukee Bucks are celebrating Women’s History Month by making their own history with broadcasts of their games.
Tonight, the first female public address announcer in Bucks’ history — Bonnie Oleson — will take the microphone when Milwaukee hosts the Wizards at Fiserv Forum. Oleson is the PA announcer for the University of Wisconsin-Madison women’s volleyball, softball and basketball teams. Last September, the team hired their first full-time female play-by-play announcer — Lisa Byington.
