A Dane County supervisor is pushing for the Pledge of Allegiance to be dropped from county meetings. Supervisor Heidi Wegleitner has proposed removing the pledge and prayer from meeting rules.
The rules are re-written twice a year and that process is currently underway. Supervisors will consider her proposal this week, however a decision won’t be made until after the election on April 5th.
