It is officially maple syrup season in Wisconsin after the first tree tapping event this past weekend.
On Saturday, the Wisconsin Maples Syrup Producers Association hosted the event that included a declaration from Governor Tony Evers that noted 2022’s Wisconsin Maple Month. The month-long event typically runs from March 15th to April 15th every year. Wisconsin is the fourth-largest maple syrup-producing state in the country.
