The Wisconsin Badgers’ season is over after falling to Iowa State in the NCAA Tournament Sunday.
It was a closely contested defensive battle between the Badgers and the Cyclones, but eventually it was Iowa State prevailing, 54-49, and moving onto the Sweet 16. The Badgers were down one of their key players after guard Chucky Hepburn left the game with an ankle injury with less than five minutes to go in the first half. Hepburn wouldn’t return, and now the Badgers are headed home.
