There is a warning for anyone of food stamps in Wisconsin.
The state’s Department of Health Services yesterday said it is “actively investigating” reports about compromised FoodShare cards. The state says anyone enrolled in the program needs to check their balances, check-in with the agency that issues the food stamps, and change passwords and pin numbers. DHS says people also need to report lost or stolen FoodShare cards immediately.
