The University of Wisconsin-Madison extends an incentive program intended to attract Education majors.
Yesterday, School of Education Dean Diana Hess said the UW-Madison Wisconsin Teacher Pledge is being extended another year. The program covers the cost of in-state tuition and fees including those for testing and licensing for those students studying to become teachers. To qualify, the student must work three or four years as a teacher in a Wisconsin school.
