Green Bay is reducing the penalties for getting caught with marijuana.
The city council passed a resolution last night saying anyone caught with 28 grams of marijuana or less on private property will only have to pay court costs. Getting caught in public could result in a fine of up to 500 dollars or community service. Anyone under 21 caught with marijuana could be fined between 100 and 200 dollars for their first offense.
