The latest attempt to change Wisconsin’s election laws are headed to Governor Tony Evers’ desk.
The State Assembly last night approved a series of election proposals all inspired by the 2020 presidential election. This is the second time in less than a year Republicans have tried to change the rules for indefinitely confined voters, managing the state’s voter rolls, and closing other loopholes they say were exploited in 2020. Governor Evers vetoed the first round of legislation, and he is expected to do the same to this round as well.
