Wisconsin’s coronavirus hospitalizations may be leveling-off.
The state’s Hospital Association yesterday said 663 people are in the hospital with the virus in the state. That’s down by just three people from the day before. There are 135 people in the ICU. Wisconsin’s coronavirus hospitalization numbers have fallen rapidly over the last month.
The downward trend continues when it comes to cases in the state as well.
You have to go back to last August to find coronavirus numbers this low in Wisconsin. The state’s Department of Health Services yesterday said the seven-day average of new cases is down to 928. That’s the lowest since last summer.
DHS says the state’s vaccination numbers are also falling. Just 22-thousand doses were handed out last week. DHS says just over 60-percent of people in Wisconsin are fully vaccinated against the coronavirus.
