Minnesota is on verdict watch in the death of George Floyd.
A jury in the civil rights trial got the case yesterday and will continue deliberating today. They’re deciding the fate of three former officers accused of not trying to save Floyd’s life during an arrest two years ago. Two helped to hold him down and a third was on crowd control. The men claim they trusted their senior officer Derek Chauvin’s use of force. He was convicted of murder.
