Tribal leaders in Wisconsin have a list of concerns and issues for state lawmakers.
Yesterday’s State of the Tribes saw Shannon Holsey, president of the Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohican Indians, talk to lawmakers about voting changes, environmental concerns, and wolf hunting. Holsey also said something must be done about how tribal people are portrayed in sports mascots.
