The latest round of election changes at the Wisconsin Capitol are moving forward but are ultimately not going anywhere.
The Wisconsin Senate yesterday approved 12 changes inspired by the 2020 president election. The plans would ban the so-called Zuckerbucks donations, change the rules for indefinitely confined voters, and make changes to clean-up Wisconsin’s voter rolls. Republicans say the changes are necessary to avoid more confusion on Election Day.
Governor Tony Evers has all but promised to veto the plans because he says they will make it harder for people to vote in Wisconsin.
