Wisconsin’s Supreme Court will decide if Governor Tony Evers’ plans to release a list of bars, restaurants, and businesses that saw coronavirus cases can move forward.
The court is set to hear arguments from the governor and the Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce today. WMC sued the governor last year after he announced plans to release the list as part of his push to keep people safe from the virus. WMC and other business groups in the state say releasing the names would scare customers away, and create a huge disadvantage for many businesses across the state.
