If it has seemed like a colder start to the year than you’re used to, you’re right.
It’s been a colder-than-normal and drier-than-normal January in Wisconsin.
The National Weather Service says the average high temperature, low temperature, and mean temperature in January were several degrees below-normal. Madison also saw four-and-a-half fewer inches of snowfall than normal. Temperatures and precipitation were also below-normal in Milwaukee.
