The Wisconsin Supreme Court is being asked, once again, to decide about ballot drop boxes in the state.
The Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty yesterday asked the court to rule after an appeals court in Madison reinstated the drop boxes for next month’s primary election. Election law in Wisconsin allows just two ways to vote, in-person or absentee through the mail. The Supreme Court rejected a ballot drop box case last summer because the lower courts had not heard the case yet. Republican candidate for governor Rebecca Kleefisch also asked the court to decide about the drop boxes.
The justices have not responded to her request.
