Wisconsin’s state budget is in better shape than ever.
A new report yesterday said the state’s budget surplus will hit nearly four billion-dollars by next summer. That’s nearly three billion more than expected. Republicans at the Capitol say they want to wait til next year to decide how to spend the money, though they are already talking about tax cuts. Democrats say the state should spend the money immediately, and they have a long list of places where they’d like to see the money go.
