A Wisconsin Congressman wants the Justice Department to look into claims ten people fraudulently claimed to be 2020 presidential electors.
Madison Democrat Mark Pocan sent a letter to AG Merrick Garland today accusing the ten, which include former Wisconsin GOP head Andrew Hitt, of lying to cast electoral ballots for Donald Trump. Former WisGOP National Committeewoman Mary Buestrin is also named in the letter. Pocan says it’s important for the investigation to happen to keep democracy safe.
