Today should be the last day of the trial for a Marathon County woman charged in a deadly 2017 Chippewa County crash.
Twenty-three-year-old Miranda Jo Miller did not testify in her own defense yesterday. Police say she was looking at her phone when she ran a stop sign in the Town of Colburn back in 2017. She smashed into 46-year-old Jeremy Goodwin’s truck. He died in the crash.
She’s facing ten-years in prison if convicted.
