Wisconsin residents are being asked not to go to the emergency room to get a coronavirus test.
The Wisconsin Hospital Association issued a release this morning saying people looking for coronavirus tests at emergency rooms are delaying urgent care for coronavirus patients. The association also says people are increasing the possibility of virus spread throughout hospitals.
People needing a coronavirus test are asked to contact their primary care physician, get tested at a community testing clinic, or get a home testing kit from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
