The price tag for Wisconsin’s governor’s race will be in the tens-of-millions of dollars.
Governor Tony Evers yesterday said he ended 2021 with over 10 million-dollars in the bank. He’s expected to raise a lot more as he looks to get a second term. Republican frontrunner Rebecca Kleefsch yesterday said she’s raised over three million-dollars in the past four months. Wisconsin is a battleground state in both this year’s election and the 2024 race for the White House. Politicos say the high stakes in the state will make for some very expensive elections.
