Eau Claire schools may move to online classes because there are not enough teachers to cover the classrooms.
The district sent a note to parents yesterday explaining that the spike in coronavirus cases has nearly 40 teachers out of the classroom because of quarantine or isolation requirements. The district says if that trend continues they may be forced to move classes online. The plan would be to start with individual classes, then grade levels, and only after that would they close an entire school building.
