A woman picks up her 6th OWI in Eau Claire County.
66 year old Kim J Dail, 66 years of age, from Detroit Lakes has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Eau Claire Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 6th offense.
On Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 11:37 PM, a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper and Osseo Police Department investigated a driving complaint involving a wrong-way driver on I-94 near mile marker 78. The vehicle was located near Osseo, WI. The driver, Kim J Dail, showed signs of impairment.
A subsequent investigation, including standardized field sobriety testing, indicated that Mr. Dail was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant. Mr. Dail was arrested and transported to a local hospital where a search warrant was obtained for an evidentiary chemical test of his blood. Mr. Dail was eventually turned over to the Eau Claire County Jail.
