Add teachers in Racine to the list of those who are asking to move classes online.
The city’s teachers’ union yesterday included a return to virtual classes in its list of demands. The union also wants N-95 masks be provided in the schools, more coronavirus testing and vaccinations in school buildings, and more paid time off.
Union president Angelina Cruz says people will get ‘really sick’ if Racine schools continue with in-person classes. Kids are due back in Racine schools today.
