Wisconsin lawmakers are heading back to the Wisconsin Capitol, but it’s unclear if they will do anything about the state’s election system.
State Rep. Tim Ramthun has a piece of legislation that would do away with the Wisconsin Elections Commission, but it is not yet scheduled for a hearing. There’s also no word if lawmakers will act on State Senator Steve Nass’ request to force the Elections Commission to adopt new rules on absentee ballots and ballot drop boxes. Nass wants a special session this month to adopt those new rules.
