A beloved actress who career stretches decades has left us.
Hollywood is paying tribute to the late Betty White. The TV icon passed away Friday at the age of 99.
Among those offering condolences was Ryan Reynolds, who co-starred with White in “The Proposal.” Reynolds tweeted, “The world looks different now,” and that White was “great at defying expectation.” Her “Hot in Cleveland” costar Valerie Bertinelli wrote, “Rest in peace, sweet Betty,” and “how bright heaven must be right now.” Andy Cohen, who’s hosting CNN’s New Year’s Eve special, tweeted, “Tonight we will raise many glasses to the wonderful legacy of Betty White.”
Her friend and agent Jeff Witjas confirmed the news to the Washington Post. He said her cause of death is not known.
