Here’s another reminder to have a designated driver to ring in the New Year.
Triple-A is canceling its program to tow cars home for those who drink a little too much. This is the second year in a row the free service won’t be offered in any state. But anyone on the road should take note, Triple-A says most drunk-driving accidents happen on New Year’s Day. In fact, the National Safety Council estimates at least 400 lives could be lost this holiday weekend.
