Prosecutors have cleared an Eau Claire police officer for a deadly officer-involved shooting from November.
The state’s Department of Justice yesterday said the officer was justified in shooting and killing LeKenneth Miller in early November. Investigators say Miller broke into his ex’s home, stabbed a woman, and was charging at police with a knife when the officer shot and killed him. Eau Claire County’s D.A. says the officer fired in self defense.
