If the particulars are right, and if everyone agrees, then Wisconsin’s governor could agree to bail changes in the state.
Governor Tony Evers yesterday said in one of his many year-end interviews that he is open to talking about bail changes following the attack at Waukesha’s Christmas Parade last month. The suspect in that case was given a thousand-dollar bail, despite a lengthy and violent criminal history, just days before police say he ran down more than 60 people in the parade. Governor Evers, however, says all of the ‘stakeholders’ would have to be on-board before he agreed to any changes.
