A southern Wisconsin family is being credited with saving a deer stranded on a frozen pond.
The family tells NBC 15 they recently spotted the deer near Fond du Lac. The family says it used a rope to pull the deer back to dry land and help it away from the area. The family thinks the deer could’ve been stranded for several days.
