There’s a push to add more people to Wisconsin’s voter rolls.
The League of Women Voters yesterday filed a lawsuit in Madison to have the court force the Wisconsin Elections Commission to reinstate 32 thousand voters who have been deactivated. WEC moved the voters to their ‘inactive’ list because they had not voted in years. It was another court case, brought by the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty, that pushed WEC to deactivate the voters. The League says the 32-thousand weren’t given proper notice about being deactivated.
