Foxconn Sees Millions in State Aid

Foxconn is getting paid by the state of Wisconsin.

The Evers Administration yesterday said the company qualified for 29 million-dollars in tax credits by adding jobs and making other investments at its campus in Mount Pleasant. This is the first time Foxconn has qualified for any state aid since it signed a development deal back in 2017. Governor Evers re-wrote the agreement with Foxconn back in the spring to guarantee tax credits for a smaller-than-promised manufacturing facility.
