We should know by the end of the day whether high school students in the state will have to take the SAT or ACT to get into a UW school.
Regents are set to meet today to talk about extending the school’s test-optional policy. High school juniors and seniors can skip the test, but the extension would also mean that sophomores and freshmen wouldn’t have to take the test during their time in high school either. The university made the SAT and ACT optional last year because the coronavirus closed a number of schools across the state.
