City leaders in Mauston cite COVID-19 as the cause for a last minute cancelation of this year’s Christmas parade.
The city’s Facebook page announced the parade cancelation only hours prior to start time yesterday. The statement also says plans for the Holiday Train Viewing Party on December 18 are also canceled. The reason cited is from state health data that shows Juneau County to have the highest COVID-19 infection rate in the state.
