Flags Lowered, Communities Connect

There will be an awful lot of baseball jerseys across southeast Wisconsin on this December 3rd.

Today is the day when friends and family members of eight-year-old Jackson Sparks are asking people to wear a jersey to show their support. Sparks is the youngest person to die in the Waukesha parade horror. The idea of jerseys for Jackson took-off online, so much so that the Brewers’ Christian Yelich Tweeted his support yesterday. Sparks’ funeral was held yesterday in Mukwonago.

Flags across Wisconsin will continue to fly lower as well. Governor Evers issued the order yesterday. He wants to honor  Lee Owen, Ginny Sorenson, and Jane Kulich on the days of their funerals. Owen will be buried today, Sorenson and Kulich’s funerals are tomorrow.
