Kyle Rittenhouse says he’s destroying the weapon he used to kill two people last year in Wisconsin.
While appearing on a podcast, Rittenhouse said he doesn’t “want anything to do with” the AR-15-style weapon he used in August 2020 in Kenosha. The shootings happened during racial justice protests after the police shooting of Jacob Blake, a Black man who was shot by a white police officer. Rittenhouse was found not guilty on the charges he faced from that night.
