President Biden is marking World AIDS Day.
During a White House event, the President said the world is within striking distance of eliminating HIV transmissions. He noted that roughly 36-million people around the globe have died from AIDS-related illnesses in the past 40 years. He praised medical advancements that have allowed many AIDS patients to live long lives.
