A funeral procession is held in honor of a fallen Evansville firefighter.
Christopher Augustin with the Evansville Community Fire District and Emergency Medical Services died suddenly and unexpectedly last Sunday. Yesterday, a procession of first responders in honor of Augustin made its way from Gunderson Funeral Home in Stoughton to the Fulton Church in Edgerton. Augustin previously served with the Bellville Fire Department before joining Evansville Fire in 2013.
