Frank W Jewell, 37 years of age, from Superior has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Spooner Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 5th offense.
On 11/20/2021, at approximately 1:40 PM, Troopers from the Wisconsin State Patrol stopped a vehicle for a speeding violation near US Highway 2 and Moccasin Mike Rd. The driver, Frank W Jewell, age 37, of Superior, WI, showed a revoked driver’s license with four prior convictions for Operating While Intoxicated. Troopers conducted field sobriety tests with Mr. Jewell and subsequently arrested him for Operating While Intoxicated – 5th Offense. A search of the vehicle revealed marijuana and paraphernalia.
Mr. Jewell was later released to the custody of the Douglas County Jail.
